About the company:


SafeBay is developing a DeFi treasury management system that will utilize an existing capital market license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore to bring Real-World-Assets to DAOs, web3 treasuries and crypto hedge-funds in a non-custodial, trust-less and unrestricted manner. Our mission is to provide an institutional-grade suite of fixed-income products on-chain and empower them with better capital efficiency solutions to achieve better risk-adjusted returns.


Job Description:


We are looking for an entrepreneurial Sales Hire with a good grasp of DeFi and financial instruments. This first hire will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company. Main responsibilities will involve identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with web3 organisations that need diversification from their own tokens and stables. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in selling financial products and possess a deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem. You will be instrumental in distributing our suite of on-chain fixed-income products, starting with tokenised treasury-bills, and showcasing how they can be used as collateral within the SafeBay platform and the broader DeFi eco-system.

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or business development role within the crypto market or traditional finance (TradFi) structured products.
  • Strong network and contacts within the crypto industry in Asia and/or the MENA region.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities.
  • A passion for Real-World Assets and their DeFi use cases.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a drive for success.




  • Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for our suite of on-chain fixed-income products.
  • Take ownership of the sales pipeline and collaborate with core team members to identify solutions and materials that convert leads into accounts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key partners in the DeFi ecosystem.
  • Onboard DAOs and web3 treasuries onto the SafeBay platform.
  • Represent SafeBay at industry events and conferences.
  • Engage with the DeFi community through social media and other communication channels.
  • Contribute to the development of the product roadmap.
