Your mission

As a Trading Operations Expert at Bitpanda, your mission will be to solve complex problems by leveraging your financial markets expertise, crypto knowledge and your data analysis skills. You will spearhead projects and work alongside senior management, as well as other departments and teams. You are well-versed in the fundamentals of financial instruments and trading systems and also possess a very strong, problem-solving-oriented mindset.

What you’ll do

• Deep-dive into our financial products, trading and hedging systems to identify and solve complex problems
• Work with internal cross-functional teams to streamline processes and create system improvements
• Support senior management on strategic projects, product development, and ad-hoc requests
• Leverage your financial markets and crypto expertise along with your data analysis skills to identify potential risks and develop processes that help proactively mitigate these
• Develop systems and frameworks that contribute to the Trading Operations department flows
   

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or similar area; Master’s degree is a plus
• A minimum of 5+ year experience in trading operations or similar areas with a very solid understanding of the trade lifecycle and traditional finance
• Excellent knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology with proven experience in related projects
• Excellent data analysis skills, ability to distill relevant information from large amounts of data; working knowledge of SQL and Python and willingness to continue to learn in this area is a plus
• A self-motivated and hands-on personality with great project management, communication and problem-solving skills; very strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
• Great team player, able to work in an ever-changing environment
