Path is looking to add a Trade Operations Analyst to its dynamic group of professionals that are dedicated to simplifying crypto investing as a regulated investment advisor.

Role

Our Trade Operations Analyst is a key hire who will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing trading systems and operations to execute portfolio management strategies in cryptocurrencies and other asset classes as required. This role will work closely with stakeholders across departments and will be dealing with large amounts of data while carrying out tasks within a certain time frame.
 

Your Core Contributions To The Team

• Work closely with portfolio managers and analysts to execute investment strategies. 
• Own all aspects of trade operations lifecycle (trade entry, reconciliation, settlement, and reporting).
• Contribute to ad-hoc initiatives and projects as required.
• Leverage portfolio management system for trade entry and portfolio monitoring.
• Ensure timely settlement of trades and accuracy of books and records.
• Lead and manage trade operations-related process projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize conflicting requirements.
• An ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where continuous innovation and ambiguity is the norm.

About You

• Must have 2+ years of experience in a trade execution or trade operations at an asset manager and/or a financial institution.
• Exposure to the cryptocurrency market is a major plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrable understanding of trading operations (trade entry, reconciliation, settlement, and reporting).
• Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior management. 
• Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 or the ability to obtain within 90 days is required.
• Intellectual curiosity, ability to develop and defend contrarian views, and passion for financial markets, investment strategies, and the digital asset space.
• A proven ability to function efficiently and problem-solve in a fast-paced and time-critical environment.
