Social Media Manager

Pixelynx is a new music and gaming venture that has been launched by deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin. We are building a music metaverse that makes it easy for any artist, label or events to launch their own interactive experiences and monetise them through Digital Collectables (NFTs)

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to be responsible for the management & posting of content daily across Pixelynx and Elynxir existing social media channels (inclusive of TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitch) as well as identify new and emerging platforms to participate on. This role will also lead all content development across social media, strategizing social media approaches while ensuring we are on top of emerging trends, topics and developments in the Web3 space.

As Social Media Manager you will work cross-functionally to ensure Brand, Marketing and Sales initiatives are communicated and promoted accordingly from current and forthcoming Pixelynx channels. You will oversee the Pixelynx content calendar, identifying key dates across the various properties to plan and create relevant, engaging content. You will also lead community engagement across social media, with a strong focus on bringing conversation to our social media alongside engaging with other communities in the Web3 space.

This role could be open to contracting or fixed employment. Employees will be working remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy
• Work with the content creation team publish engaging content in a timely manner
• You will be directly engaging with the wider community across all social media platforms via replying to comments, shares, retweets and other relevant engagement
• You will be very hands on and responsible for posting of all social media content
• Define and report most important communication KPIs, grow social media metrics
• You will lead and ideate creative content ideas surrounding tentpole events, jumping on trends in the Web3 space and keeping our content ahead of the curve
• Work with designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
• Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Partnerships, and Product Development teams to launch social media campaigns and to engage with the community feedback
• Work with influencers, content creators and communities to improve the reach of our social media
• You will be pioneering the latest social media best practices and technologies
• Use of social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite
• Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization
   

Requirements

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• You have 3+ years of relevant Social Media experience, ideally within the Web3 space
• You have excellent knowledge of TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and other top social media platforms
• Experience and knowledge in the Web3 space and with Blockchain/Crypto/DAO’s is necessary, hands on experience managing social media in this space is a huge plus
• Solid understanding of social media KPIs
• You are flexible and proactive in your approach to social media, focusing on adaptability to the developing nature of Web3
• Solid understanding of analytics (Hootsuite, google analytics, etc.)
• Excellent multitasking skills
• Creative thinker with ability to quickly problem-solve
• Strong copywriting skills
• Great time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience within Music and/or gaming industries is a plus
