The role

We’re looking for a creative Social Media & Events Manager whose mission will be to implement and oversee SettleMint’s interactions with the public through the implementation of content strategies on social media platforms and to select and plan on-site events that SettleMint will attend.


In this role, your main duties will include the formulation of our messages, the growth of our online and offline communities, and the creation of an optimal flow of content to balance messaging across multiple audiences (developers, business, partners, and candidates) to bring the creation of MQLs through social media to a new dimension.


Additionally, you will be in charge of organizing our presence at the on-site events that SettleMint will join, making sure the target audience is present and the message is promoted effectively. You will also be in charge of the management of our partnerships with different institutions like universities or other official bodies.


  • Implement and manage our social media strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand awareness, aiming at generating new leads, nurturing existing contacts, and upselling existing customers.

  • Select the events SettleMint should attend and the communities that SettleMint should join, both online and offline, and make the most out of our participation and partnerships.

  • Liaise and negotiate with vendors, handle budget and invoicing. Potentially negotiate sponsorship deals.

  • Organize logistics, including branding and communication. Coordinate with top management to align goals, budgets, and returns.

  • Create workable strategies to increase engagement and followers on well-known social media sites including Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Medium, and YouTube.

  • Create excellent written and graphic content for each social media campaign to increase community engagement.

  • Create a content calendar for social media platforms, in accordance with multiple inputs from other teams: developer advocates, product communication, customer success, sales, HR, and others. Select the events we should go to, organize our attendance, and make sure the necessary material is produced.

  • Keep track of, report, and evaluate the accomplishment of important social media KPIs and business goals.

  • Be our online ears and eyes, reporting on the ecosystem's social trends and conversations and sharing those with the Customer Success, Marketing, and Engineering teams

  • Keep up to date and educated on the latest tech developments, and communicate them in an accessible way to our followers.

Job requirements

Skills and Experiences

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a social media position. You also had previous experience with Blockchain technology or with other leading edge tech.

  • You are a creative thinker, you will easily find new angles that resonate with our audiences.

  • Experience at using social monitoring/listening tools such as Hootsuite, Nexalogy, Brandwatch or others. 

  • You have worked with Hubspot or a similar tool in the past.

  • Technical wizard, you are able to do the set up of a tooling stack and interconnect the different tools.

  • Being data-driven: clear understanding of data, analytics, metrics and statistics. You have the ability to establish clear testing objectives and appropriate KPIs, translate test results into actionable business insights.
