Smart Contract Engineer

Lemma built the first DEX that enables spot trading with perpetual futures liquidity. Liquidity providers incur 0 impermanent loss and get yields via trading fees and funding rate PnL. We are in the process of building a new defi primitive that is currently still in stealth. Come find out what it is :)

Lemma’s team is small (currently 7 people) with work experience that includes engineering & design @ Matcha.xyz (0x product), quant @ Goldman Sachs, product @ Ocrolus, engineering @ Instadapp, Uber, Idle, Catnip and two PHDs.

We raised ~7.5 million USD from Tier 1 investors that include Dragonfly, Standard Crypto, Nascent, Multicoin, Coinbase Ventures, Robot Ventures (Tarun Chitra + Robert Leshner) and from strategic partners and angels including Wintermute, GSR, Woo Network/Kronos, Perpetual Protocol, MCDEX…

Responsibilities:

• Write state-of-the-art smart contracts on Ethereum


• Ensure that dapps are tested thoroughly via e2e tests


• Work in close collaboration with the engineering team on product architecture and design


• Work closely with our quant team on implementation and research


• Manage junior team members & teach them best practices

Minimum qualifications:

• Senior-level smart contract development experience


• Expertise in Solidity, EVM, and smart contract design


• Familiarity with databases and full-stack frameworks


• Strong desire to build decentralized and open source software


• Passion for learning new technologies and tackling novel technical problems


• Excellent English communication skills

• General knowledge about derivatives


• Existing contributions to open-source software products


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or higher
