Quantitative Analyst Intern

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst Intern who is curious and comfortable with cryptocurrencies and wishes to gain more experience working in a Blockchain start-up.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Dive in-depth into blockchain data and perform DeFi protocol mathematical derivations to evaluate and propose approaches to manage our database and analytics
• Scope and design our database to build an extremely robust architecture
• Develop pseudo-code for our development team to execute
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to validate development outputs
• Run and maintain data analytics and database development processes

Requirement

• Undergraduate/ Graduate students in STEM, preferably in mathematics, computer science, financial engineering, big data management, artificial intelligence, or any relevant disciplines
• Strong knowledge in statistical methods and data analytics, proficiency in Python, SQL programming languages and some database knowledge (MongoDB)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, able to think out-of-the-box, strong attention to details
• Extremely strong work ethics, a passion for excellence and solid written and oral communication skills
• Not required to have prior experience in blockchain but a passion for blockchain and decentralized finance is preferred
