Product at BovCrypto

The Product organization is at the forefront of BovCrypto's mission to reimagine farming revenues so all growing farms can realize their full potential, considering environmental services as a new source of revenue. We identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for BovCrypto to tackle. We have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. We work cross-functionally with teams at BovControl across engineering, legal, compliance, design, and many more to set strategy, define a roadmap, and drive crypto products from inception to launch to ensure BovCrypto continues to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What You’ll Do

As a Product expert at BovCrypro, you will be responsible for owning the Products, aligning with multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating models and tools that enable our partners and stakeholders to easily utilize and enjoy our tokens. An individual in this role should enjoy spending significant time modeling out, engineering and designing ecosystem dynamics to stakeholders, understanding current pain points and needs, and identifying opportunities for building and improving our tokens.

Responsibilities

• Researching other Ag and Carbon token economies to iterate upon our current plans based on a solid understanding of tokenomics
• Model and calculate token financials, sensitivity, transaction amounts, supply, etc
• Creation of an algorithm which can monitor supply and breeding systems based on key metrics to measure the demand of players joining the ecosystem
• Collaborate with the partner's development teams to integrate tokens within products
• Contribute to the writing of a whitepaper explaining the tokenomics
• Help support marketing by explaining the tokenomics to the community
• Ensuring successful implementation of the token economy, assisting with creation, issuing, staking, etc
• Helping to iterate the token economy over time to ensure sustainability with live ops
• Define with colleagues clear goals and metrics and be held accountable to achieving them.
• Efficiently executed to ship tokens and deliver impact for our business and customers, designing on standard design guidelines, testing and engaging through partner's applications
• Define new crypto products and features by working closely with segment specific product teams
• Communicate concisely and influence outcomes across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Payments, and Partners
• Learning Business Logic while building custom solutions, participating in all stages of the application, focusing on development and troubleshooting
• Converting Business Specifications into flowcharts and logical processes
• Learning and documenting old and new codes. Eager to learn and open to learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Extensive experience and knowledge in Web3, including smart contracts, tokens, blockchains, and cryptocurrency as a whole
• Experience with tokens, including creation, mining, yield farming, issuing, burning and staking
• Extensive experience in creating economic systems and models and testing them using software
• Results-oriented: you embrace doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects.
• Experience with application scalability and availability.
• Customer and craft obsessed: You have experience and enjoy driving continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and data.
• Team-first: The team comes first and you have proven experience working well with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders.
• Knowledge in the broader blockchain ecosystem around NFTs, DAOs and DeFi gaming
• Experience in blockchain with a strong understanding of how token economies work, ideally having previously written whitepapers for projects
• An innovative and analytical mindset
• A motivated and driven self-starter
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
