The Role


TaxBit is building its global partnerships organization and one of the top priorities is to drive alliances with the world’s leading accounting firms, global systems integrators, and technology companies in order to better help businesses accelerate their adoption of digital assets with TaxBit’s industry leading technology. 


We are looking for an experienced, dynamic partnerships professional to join TaxBit’s partnerships organization. This role will maximize the strategic and financial ROI of partnerships through scale-based thinking, data-driven prioritization, and plain-old hustle to sign, launch, and activate key partners. This is both a partner-relationship and revenue-generating role that reports to TaxBit’s VP of Growth and works closely with TaxBit’s sales, marketing, and industry (SME) teams. 


You’re the Swiss Army knife of professionals. You have experience managing partnerships and/or sales for high-tech or financial services organizations and are also expert at working across internal teams and stakeholders to drive business impact. You’re a self-starter who’s organized, strategic, and has a good balance of emotional intelligence and intuition for people, product, and strategies. 


We’re in the early stages of defining how partnerships will maximize long-term impacts for TaxBit, so this role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, outcome-oriented individual who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to GSD, is excited to work collaboratively across functions, and wants to help us create the company playbook for driving revenue via a fast-growing partnership ecosystem. 


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and evaluate the effectiveness of partner opportunities to deliver positive ROI and strategic value to TaxBit
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with executives and sales teams in partner organizations to secure new business and negotiate and close strategic partnerships in support of accelerating TaxBit’s business growth
  • Orchestrate partner engagements across external partners and internal stakeholders 
  • Articulate TaxBit's value proposition and GTM strategy to partners
  • Be a primary point of contact and key internal advocate within TaxBit for the partners
  • Drive impact with scalable, repeatable processes and programs that deliver against TaxBit's aggressive growth goals


Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or consulting with experience in complex business-to-business environments
  • A successful track record of developing and growing partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges; ability to build and convey compelling value propositions
  • Exceptional project portfolio management capabilities, i.e., doing the right projects at the right time by selecting and managing projects as a portfolio of investments
  • Flexible and comfortable with feedback and change during projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (once it is safe to do so in the future)
  • Bachelor’s Degree


Desired Skills


  • Background and expertise in tax, accounting, or finance
  • Experience with digital assets or crypto-native companies either personally or professionally
  • Proven productive relationships and rolodex with potential partners
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
