THE ROLE
At Socios.com we are looking for a highly passionate and dedicated Partnership Coordinator to join our Partner Operations team. We are looking for a well-rounded individual, willing to put in the time necessary to be world-class.
This position is responsible for assisting in execution of partnership assets between both internal stakeholders and Socios.com’s roster of US sports partners and will act as the lead on multiple partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have excellent relationship management skills and organization along with an interest and knowledge of US sports. Ideally this person has previous experience working in account management and has a passion for executing assets to bring partnerships to life. This person should also be able to balance multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
This position will be remote but can also be based in the Miami office. This role will report to a Partnerships Manager.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for their own portfolio of partners while also supporting the greater partnerships team in the execution of agreed marketing rights for Socios.com’s roster of US sports partners
- Manages the organization and updating of partnership databases, reports, and spreadsheets
- Actively works alongside partners and teammates to enhance and brainstorm new partner activations
- Works collaboratively across internal departments and stakeholders to assist in partnership projects and creative requests
- Assists in the coordination of any internal company and/or partner events
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and reports on activation best practices and new media marketing efforts with the partnerships team monthly
- Develops self to improve performance in the current role and to prepare for future roles; seeks and provides feedback and coaching to enhance performance.
Requirements
- Minimum one (1) to two (2) years of experience in account management
- Vast knowledge of / interest in US sports
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant program
- Exceptional relationship management and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Creative & innovative - you must be prepared to contribute to brainstorms surrounding partner activations
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with marketing initiatives (digital, event, hospitality, etc.), on-site event marketing operations, and logistics
- Maintain the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines as directed
- Knowledge of / interest in digital currencies, blockchain considered an asset
