Lead Product Designer

We’re looking for someone who loves DeFi, taking on challenges, and is interested in being the first designer at Opyn, a vital part of our expanding team. You’ll be focused on understanding users, shipping products and features that solve cutting edge problems, and developing new mental frameworks for the future of the financial system.

You’ll have lots of ownership and a large stake in shaping the company, in contributing to strategy and product execution, in hiring and scaling the team, and in shaping the greater DeFi ecosystem

In one year you’ll know you are successful if you...

• Bring joy to users by making the core product delightful and simple, 50x-ing daily volumes
• Have taken complete ownership of design at Opyn

• Enjoys talking to and getting feedback from users
• Collaborates across eng, product, research, and community teams and effectively communicates design concepts
• Is willing to do anything it takes to solve problems and create delightful user experiences
• Sets high standards and strives for simplicity
• Has passion about crypto applications / Ethereum (preferably DeFi)
• Is excited about tackling new problems at the cutting edge, bringing over best practices to DeFi, and defining new interactions where needed
• Has a growth mindset
• Is a self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment driving tangible results
