Lead, People and Culture

About the job

As Lead of People and Culture, you'll be responsible for inspiring contributors to an open source ecosystem, starting with engaging foundation members and supporting their growth. You'll also be finding ways to more strongly connect a community of developers, miners, content creators and educators, liaising between our organization and the circles of stakeholders that comprise a decentralized network.

What We'll Do Together

• Generate enthusiasm in the concentric circles of the project, create a differentiated feel true to who we are
• Communicate the values and culture of the project, prepare content (do you meme?) to inspire and guide foundation members and the Nervos community
• Build scaffolding of community through online and offline events, creating opportunities to foster connection, collaboration and innovation
• Strengthen working relationships across our small organization and galvanize the group to act as one, drive review and goal setting processes
• Shape organizational DNA by fostering culture and acting as a sounding board for others

• Exceptional communication, organizational and relationship management skills

• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving and at times uncertain environment

What You've Done

• Experience in open source software and technical communities (required)
• 5+ years experience in leadership, HR or community building
• Generating a sense of team and a mission-driven organization

Nice to have

• Technical skills and understanding of blockchain technology
• Experience working in a startup environment or in small teams
