Lead Community Builder

We believe access to stable money is a human right. Almost two billion people around the world don't have a safe place to store their money or are excluded from financial services such as payments and credit. Struggles with inflationary currencies prevent families and communities from building basic economic security. To help solve this, we currently offer financial services in high inflation economies so that everyone can protect the value of their money. Our app users in Latin America can easily save and spend in US dollars, without worrying about their money devaluing overnight.

That said, we're not a bank. Reserve is a new way to store and move money, creating new saving and spending experiences beyond borders.

We are actively expanding to new regions, and would love to explore if you could be a fit for our team! Please note that this role is focused on the App side of our business, and not the Protocol. Our app is currently utilized in 5 South American countries, and we are expanding it to the US and globally in the near future.

About the Role:

We are looking for a hustler with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, a community builder who deeply believes in solving social economic problems, especially on building an inclusive economy.

You are someone who enjoys emerging yourself in local Latino communities to drive ideations, testing, building products and services that add value for them. You like rolling up your sleeves, moving at a fast pace, thriving in ambiguity and embracing the scrappiness of a start-up environment. Nurturing relationships and building communities of the first 1000 community members in the Bay area will be your initial focus, the position entitles much more!

You will work closely with Reserve’s communities and future prospects/users as well as collaborate internally with the leadership team, design, community, among others.

Requirements

- Experience with early-stage startups (fintech strongly preferred), building communities from zero state

- Entrepreneurial DNA with the desire to solve problems

- Be influential on social media

- Previous experience building, bringing to market, and scaling products

- A go-getter who does not need to wait to be told what to do

- Solid project management skills: ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, prioritize high-impact activities, and keep complex projects moving forward

- Bilingual English/Spanish

- US based (San Francisco)
