We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Crypto.com |Derivatives, As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will work in a team setting with other Engineers that are responsible for designing, delivering, operationalizing, and maintaining a high-performance, scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure that includes compute, network, backup, and storage technologies. The technologies you will be working with are located within on prem, co-lo hosted, or cloud-based facilities. You will work very closely with our development teams to ensure infrastructure projects are aligned with their needs and the needs of the business. You will also work within a regulated, documented, and openly transparent environment following processes and procedures that are audited and reportable to government regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, deliver, secure, and maintain compute, virtualization, backup, storage, directory and cloud infrastructure, while following process, procedures and meeting defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with members of the Infrastructure Engineering team, product managers, stakeholders, developers, and vendors to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and debug issues that may present themselves during the life cycle of an infrastructural solution.
• Ensure that solutions are scalable, secure, reliable and perform within business expectations, SLAs, and regulator requirements.
• Ensure that infrastructure solutions have had appropriate monitoring and logging enabled and are tested appropriately before delivering to the requestor.
• Develop solutions with an automation mindset that will be used throughout the lifecycle of the infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all aspects of infrastructure, that outline process and procedures.
• Ensure that infrastructure solutions are following best practices and industry standards
• Ensure that infrastructure is patched, upgraded, and maintained following patching and upgrade guidelines and maintenance windows.
• Participate in peer reviews of solutions and provide constructive feedback to other engineers
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies, trends and best practices in the field

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in an infrastructure related role, with a strong knowledge of several different disciplines of infrastructure.
