Head of Business Development - Remote




Designed for the next generation of blockchain, the Oasis Network is the first privacy-enabled blockchain platform for Web3, a responsible data economy and a

decentralized society. The Oasis Protocol Foundation supports projects focused on building privacy-preserving applications on top of the Oasis Network.


The Oasis Network is looking for a Head of Business Development to help increase our brand recognition and empower our BD team to reach new heights by nourishing and

developing strategic partnerships as well as building the visibility and use of our products and our technology.

At Oasis, we believe in nurturing and empowering the next generation of blockchain

innovators. Our Grants Program provides funding, resources, and mentorship to talented individuals and teams that are developing applications, tools, and infrastructure on the Oasis Network. As the Head of Business Development, you will collaborate with our Grants Manager to shape and enhance this program to ensure it aligns with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Community teams to prepare and execute a comprehensive Business Development Strategy.
  • Develop and implement a plan to increase the number of partnerships with businesses in both the Web2 and Web3 sectors.
  • Redefine and improve our Grants Program in coordination with the Grants Manager.
  • Define clear goals and strategies for the Business Development department on an annual, quarterly, semi-annually, and monthly basis.
  • Attend conferences, lead initiatives, and organize events to increase Oasis's visibility and promote partnerships with other businesses.
  • Create new revenue streams.
  • Act as the Hiring Manager for roles related to the Business Development

department and identify human resource requirements to support business growth.


Key Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Layer 1 blockchains and Grant Programmes 
  • Previous experience as a Head of Business Development for a Layer 1 or similar blockchain company
  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment
  • Proven experience in a business development role or a related field, with a track record of success.
  • Experience in managing grants or funding programs, including setting objectives, evaluating proposals, and monitoring progress.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and negotiate deals.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency landscape, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
