Salary $90,000 - $300,000 per year

Well-funded stealth startup backed by Polychain, Tribe Capital, & the Solana Foundation is growing! I've placed 2 people with them and both have had fantastic feedback on the culture and opportunity. They are looking for a Head of Business Development to spearhead their go-to-market Ecosystem. In this role you will develop novel strategies and build partnerships with major organizations. Ideally you have experience working in both the Web2 SaaS sales space along with a startup in the Web3 crypto native space.
Their product is a blockchain ecosystem that will allow others to build out blockchain to their own application. They’re building a high-performance, modular infrastructure to scale blockchains by separating the “slow” part of blockchains from executing programs and data availability (similar to Cosmos or Polkadot just much faster). With their infrastructure, any application can scale and spin out as its own blockchain without increasing its security risk. They have a very competitive compensation package and great benefits.
A strong understanding of the crypto market and its use cases is essential, with the ability to provide insightful strategies around it. This person is a strategic thinker and able to provide market context and insights into certain trends in crypto that others might not pick up on. They are starting with gaming as the initial GTM for a few reasons - gaming projects in general have high customizability and considerations around throughput, which makes them ideal for testing their hypotheses. Therefore, gaming experience would also be highly valued but they are open to other backgrounds!

Job Details
Their Head of Business Development will spearhead their go-to-market ecosystem. In this role you will develop novel strategies and build partnerships with major organizations. The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in an innovative and energetic team that designs and implements cryptocurrency technologies that influence both our company’s products and the industry at large.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 8-10+ years experience in BD, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, & creating GTM Ecosystems
- Relevant experience at an early-stage startup
- Experience working in Web3 / Crypto
- Experience in the Gaming space
- Experience managing an ecosystem team
- Experience building and running a structured sales process at a rapidly growing company
- Strong written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a wide variety of audiences
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Huge plus if experienced with Web3 Infrastructure or experience doing ecosystems for a crypto project - particularly interested in Moonbeam and Polygon
