Director, Employee Marketing, Digital Assets
Fidelity Digital Assets
Job Description
The Role
The Workplace Investing (WI) Employee (Participant) Marketing team is looking for a Director to join the innovation and next gen retirement space, specifically supporting the Digital Assets business. The Director will lead integrated go-to-market programs and initiatives in support of the new Workplace Investing offering known as the Digital Assets Account (DAA). Due to the regulatory environment, evolving policy, demands of the industry, and client needs, educating participants about the DAA investment option so that they can make an informed choice, and creating an engaging participant experience will be a critical part of the role.
The DAA is a first-of-its-kind investment opportunity for 401k plans in their core plan lineup. It is a proprietary solution utilizing Fidelity’s digital assets capabilities and recordkeeping technology for participants interested in investing in bitcoin. It was developed to help meet the demands of employers (plan sponsors) who want to provide their employees with exposure to digital assets within their retirement savings plan. The DAA represents Fidelity’s continued commitment to innovation and evolving its offerings and we’ve seen steadily growing demand. While this role will primarily be focused on DAA, cryptocurrencies, and blockchain, there could be opportunities to support other offerings within the innovation portfolio in the future as we continue to expand customer choice.
