Cryptocurrency HFT Quant Trader - New York

One of our clients, a boutique proprietary trading firm, is looking for a Cryptocurrency Trader to join their team in New York. In this role you will develop quantitative, systematic, rules-based high-frequency trading strategies to address the opportunities in the cryptocurrency space, deal with the day-to-day operational running of those strategies, and work on future research and optimization of the strategies.

Requirements You Should Have

• A bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)
• An entrepreneurial, innovative and driven approach, and a competitive nature
• 5+ years experience in systematic capital markets trading, with 3+ years in digital assets trading
• Experience with both spot and derivatives is a plus
• Experience with data analytics and modelling, with strong attention to detail
• Experience with a scripting language such as Python is desirable
• A collaborative approach to strategy research, development and optimization
• Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal)
