Backend engineer

We are looking for someone who can bridge communication between our clients database, our dedicated game servers and the blockchain indexer Moralis using Node.js and npm packages. This will help us create a rich user experience for our metaverse that enables cross cultural communication between users while leveraging the best technology available across Web2 and Web3.

🤸🏽Are you good at?

• Writing in Node.js and using npm packages, with Java and Golang
• Basic knowledge of data architecture with efficiency in any one - MYSQL, MongoDB or GraphQL
• Experience with AWS services
• Building a reliable and robust data processing pipeline along with robust APIs
• Deploying/maintaining a live service
• Managing dedicated game servers
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools
• Build monitoring process to improve performance for server load balance and foresee necessary infra changes

🏄🏼‍♂️What your average day will look like in the Plutoverse

• Connecting, optimizing and maintaining our AWS game servers connection to Unreal Engine 5
• Founding our backend architecture from scratch in line with our long term metaverse scalability goals
• Collaborating with the game developers, network engineers, solidity developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Manage databases between AWS and our blockchain indexer Moralis
• Work with blockchain and our game team to speak with smart contracts through unreal engine
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.

🧚🏽‍♂️It will be amazing if you also have

• Experience with AWS Gamelift
• Experience with connecting AWS Servers to the blockchain indexer on Moralis
